Railway Spherical Bearings

This spherical bearing smoothly delivers loads generated in the upper structure to the lower structure because the special shear pin is connected to the upper structure, making it excellent against uplift force. Additionally, the motion restriction device for the prevention of excessive motion performs a fail safety function, and this spherical bearing has also improved the capability of accepting additional torsion stress due to a rotational forces caused in the upward axial direction of an upper structure if an earthquake generated in these forces in a direction perpendicular to the bridge.
